Two Variations of Lee’s Liniment Bottles Bangor Maine

Here we have two aqua blown in mold/tooled lip bottles that contained “Lee’s Liniment”.

The first bottle is embossed “Lee’s/Liniment/Tibbetts/& Jordan/Proprietors”.  It is 4-5/8” tall and 1-1/2” in diameter and is in excellent condition; there is some very light interior stain and the embossing is a bit light but there are not chips, cracks, or other damage.

The second bottle is embossed “Lee’s/Liniment/W.E. Mann/Proprietor”.  It is also 4-5/8” tall and 1-1/2” in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or stain.  This bottle is beautifully whittles and fairly crude. 

I have been told that at least the Tibbetts & Jordan version is from Bangor, Maine (ME), and I suspect the other version is from there as well.  These are a pair of very unusual and hard to find Maine liniment bottles.
