The winner of this auction will receive 2 Passes each entitling the bearer to a 18 Holes of Golf with a cart at Gentleman Creek Golf Club in Melbourne, Ontario.

This popular golf course is located a short 25-minute drive from London. Designer Martin Welch skillfully took advantage of the gently flowing Gentleman Creek, bringing it into play on 11 of the 18 holes.

Several ponds introduce water on 5 more holes so having a ball retriever in your bag is almost a necessity. While several holes stand out, the 11th hole with its island green is the most talked about and is an excellent hole for a tournament's "closest to the pin" contest. This 106 yard par three will have you triple guessing your club selection and swing weight before taking your tee shot. Another challenging hole is the 6th, a 552 yard par five. Play is relatively straight ahead until you make your third shot, which must be played over both a creek and a pond to reach the green.

Gentleman Creek Golf Club is now under new ownership.

Terry Dugdale who was, and still is, the golf professional at Gentleman Creek is now the owner of the golf club. They took over ownership as of January 1st, 2008.

Terry will be managing the golf club. Look for new improvements to the club coming this spring and summer. You can look forward to improvements to the lounge area where the dance floor is located. There will be a nice sitting area with a television so member and guest can relax. Terry will also be be putting in a new grass patio with a canopy, as well as new tables and chairs.

As for the course itself, new signs, yardage markers and directional signs will be put in place, tee blocks shall be levelled and some trees will be cut down to open up a few fairways.

Q. Is bidding open internationally?

Yes, bidding is open internationally so anyone can bid. Items are being shipped from Toronto, Canada so please be sure that you only bid on items that can be imported into your country.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?

The accepted methods of payment are PayPal, money order, certified cheque, and bank draft. Payment must be negotiable in Canada and made in Canadian dollars. If paying with a credit card, we only accept credit card payments through PayPal (you are not required to have a PayPal account yourself). PayPal is an eBay company so it is fully secure. We will also accept cash payment if you are doing a pick-up (we will not accept cash through the mail).

Q. I've made my payment, how long until I receive my item?

When the auction ends, we request that you make payment within four business days. Most shipments within North America will arrive within 1 week from date of payment.

Q. Can I pick-up my item rather than having it shipped?

Yes, we are happy to offer FREE pick-up in North York (Toronto) from the auction managers' office. The pick-up address is:

Q. If I buy more than one item, will you combine shipping to save me some money?

Yes, we are happy to combine items for shipping whenever possible to save you money on shipping. Combined shipping will depend on the packaging and shipping needs of your items (some items must be packaged and shipped separately because of their size, weight, or because they are fragile). The combined shipping fee/cost will be determined by: the size and weight of the package, the destination, and the cost of total insurance on the package.

Q. Is there sales tax on my purchase?

No, as this is a charity auction, there is no sales tax on your purchase.

Q. I see the money is going to charity - is this purchase tax deductible?

North York General Hospital Foundation will not be issuing a tax receipt as you are buying an item rather than making a donation. Please contact your personal tax advisor for more information on this issue.
