Beautiful American GOLD COIN- Liberty Half-eagle from 1880

This coin is in exellent condition ! Very attractive eye appeal, lustre & strike.
The details are all clear and readable. On the obverse: there is a single mark near between her mouth & eye, a slight nick in the edge between the last two stars on the right-hand side, & one at the star nearest to her coronet ( approximately the 2:00 position) under magnification. The reverse side: Has similar nicks between "states & of", at the right tip of the eagles wing, & less noticable, very slight ones at the "A" , "M" & "C" in "America". The shield is very dark & there is nice variation in the shading. I would say less definition on the end of the word "united" & the "s' in states.
Since I am not a professional & this coin is not graded, I am trying to be thorough re. the description.
I beleive the mint mark to be an 'S" although it has no definition discernable other than at the top.
