The first feature, AMERICA ON THE MOVE, takes viewers on a guided tour of the exhibit, revealing highlights of the museum's transportation collection that includes an original steam locomotive, the interior of a Mississippi riverboat, and an actual chunk of the legendary roadway Route 66. The second feature, the A&E biography HENRY FORD: TIN LIZZY TYCOON, weaves archival footage and interviews with historians, family members, and former employees into an in-depth portrait of the man who made the automobile an American fixture.

The History Channel has produced an exceptional DVD on the history of American Transportation - the DVD is titled "America On the Move - From Horse to Horsepower:  An Epic History of Transportation".  This is a great DVD which features two great programs - the first is a comprehensive tour & history of the incredible exhibits on display at the National Museum of American History & their incredible transportation exhibition.  From steamboats, railroads, the horse & buggy, trucks, cars, and even more rare forms of historic transportation - you will experience the history of America's transportation heritage.  The second feature is an A&E Biography production on Henry Ford titled:  "Henry Ford:  Tin Lizzy Tycoon" - this is a full length special on the life and transportation revolution inspired by Henry Ford.  The DVD is new and still full sealed from the History Channel with a retail price of $24.95.  A great DVD by the History Channel on America's Transportation History.  Shipping via U.S. Postal First Class Mail is $2.95.
