Hello, I am the author selling this method book on acquiring perfect pitch I wrote for my UCLA classes. The students who understand this method have had significant breakthroughs in understanding techniques required to learning perfect pitch - yes it IS trainable and you will see how. I am selling manuscript versions of this book at reduced prices - you know the cost of text books - and I will post some feedback responses I have received through eBay. The cost can be reduced if you are a student currently enrolled - I will pay for shipping! YEAH, reductions! At approx. 60 pages, I hope you will find this book invaluable on the road to your musical successes. I am also available by phone for a discussion on this material if you would like.....just email your phone number and a good time to call! Take care and Blessings to all who read this! I am now significantly discounting these to make them more available. Thanks, the author. ************************************************************************************** Below is an small sample from the book: The Perfect Pitch: Its any given Sunday. You put on the game. Relax with your favorite beverage. Just in time for the national anthem. Unaware, unconcerned, and most likely unconscious of any key other than a vague memory of Francis Scott, you hum along because you like what you're hearing. The Pitcher takes the mound and throws a few. The umpire shouts a big, "Play Ball!", and the pitcher winds up with the first pitch of the game. It's a big wind-up, you lean forward on the edge of your seat in anticipation. He seems to have put everything into it. It's an intense opener. It's going to be a close call, and here it is, the first pitch of the game is - - a B natural. The umpire, a resourceful character, recognizes it to be in the zone immediately, looks eye level to his left as if hearing an internal reference and calls it what it is. The batter nods in chagrined acceptance and the home crowd goes wild with excitement. It's a pitch everyone seems to have been expecting. Recognizing a pitch in music will soon be this easy for everyone. With today's technology, new insights in brain functioning from breakthroughs in the neuro sciences and related fields, we are learning so much about how the brain works, pretty soon all someone will have to do is check to see if a pitch is in the "zone" - here the zone becomes the window of acceptablity for recognizing pitches on the natural scale rather than the calling of balls or strikes coming from the pitcher's mound. Actually for some people, the game is already this easy. Some players are able to tell you immediately the key a song is in or any note they hear as well as anyone can recognize colors in the visual field. These particular players become the reference point for learning about pitch recognition. They've mastered the art of discerning pitch so well they're like the home plate umpire in the World Series, they always know the the pitch is every time without question. In this book, I've interviewed several musicians who have developed perfect pitch and looked at specifics as to what they do internally to determine the exact pitch of any note. With NLP modelling, I've reconstructed what these specialists in pitch recognition do so that you can take advantage of the Brain Language of the Masters. Its the same in every case, Perfect Pitch is a product of memory and consciousness and it IS IN FACT trainable = anyone can do it once they know what's involved and how to do it. I've taken the time to delineate the model. I hope you enjoy it as much as the many other students who have enjoyed this book has.
