This set is quartersawn and well aged, ready to begin working with. The pieces have been thicknessed and sanded to the measurements below. No bandsaw marks remain, just sanding swirl marks from the disc sander.
This set has artistic looking sapwood, close up photos show how the sides will match up at the tail block. This is the last we have of the sapwood Monkeypod.
A bookmatched Peg Head is included to compliment this set.
On the inside face of one of the sides there is a small open knot hole that does not go through to the outside face. This will be no problem. It can easily be filled and will not show on the outside of your instrument since the outside face is clear. Please check your side length dimensions required to confirm this set is large enough for you.
