 Serandite is one of the rarest gems in the world.  Crystals large enough to cut are only found at one locality in the world and the material is so difficult to facet, that most attempts to cut a gem fail.  This rare beauty has the famous salmon pink color that the mineral is known for and is very well cut.  It is not fully transparent, but it faces up very well.  This is the largest serandite that I have ever seen for sale and it would make a great additional to your rare gem collection.
