 Description Shipping and payments
     An Ultra Rare, Minty, WWII, Late War, Japanese/Chinese?, Cavalry Sword with Scabbard! I am not quite sure what to make of this HUGE, Cavalry sword! Its the first one that I, and quite a few other sword collectors have ever seen!! Recently purchased from a WWII veterans estate along with the Chinese Officers sword that is currently selling in my other auction. The huge, crudely made blade, rates mint with the original cosmoline coating, that the veteran most likely applied before bringing it back after the war ended! The blade measures an unbelievable 37 1/4" long X 1 3/8" wide X 5/16" thick! The crudely made hilt with blackened iron guard, rates minty and is tight on the sword. The push-button lock functions perfectly. The wooden grips rate excellent+ and show some slight dents and nicks. The wooden scabbard rates near mint and shows some handling and age related dents and scrapes. Please note, this sword is not for sale where prohibited.
