I can't say it any more simply, but, well, this headboard is drop dead gorgeous! Easily a keeper. GREAT FAT OLD BALL TOPS! (12" in diameter) Despite her now gorgeous shabby distressed appearance this wall-mounted headboard is an excellent quality piece! The headboard has been refinished and handpainted by us (by brush and we NEVER spray paint) in our custom blended Tourmaline paint and heavily distressed to bring out the delicious contrasting dark wood peeking out from underneath. We've always loved the old-fashioned depth and richness of old colors in antique furniture. We developed this aqua color from a painted piece that we felt was quite exceptional. We've named the color Tourmaline after a gemstone that has the same unique color brilliance of being both blue and green. The distressed paint has that same unique quality and is a little more green. As you view the pictures you'll see both colors. The dual color results are awesome!

The headboard is solid wood and is a heavy one. We shortened the legs (rail connectors were gone when we got her) and added a heavy-duty wood level wall mount to the back. Comes with everything you'll need....al the hardware and very easy to follow mounting instructions. Wall mounting is fast & easy and does not require going onto a wall stud. I have a couple of old heavy antique headboards & mirrors hanging above our beds using the same level mount. It is the best way to hang pieces on a wall ~ very sturdy and perfectly secure!

She has some dents & dings here and there. As FABULOUS as this piece is in these pictures you'll agree she's even prettier in person. You'll love her as much as I do!

Our refinishing process includes a thorough quality assessment, cleaning and making any repairs or improvements needed, making sure the drawers slide easily, etc. We only use U.S. made water-based, lead-free paints. Dimensions: 34" tall x 59-3/4" wide and 4" deep. This headboard is perfect for a Full or Queen sized bed. From my research most mattresses are: Full 53" wide and Queen 60" wide. The over/under measurement won't be noticeable at all.

Shipping cost: This item will ship for $115 to your nearest Greyhound Packagexpress station for pickup. Picking up is fast and easy. Most stations offer station to home delivery for a little more $$ if needed. FedEx Ground shipping may be available for additional $$. Please email if you have any questions.
