vintage 1940s large VENINI FAZZOLETTO

11 1/2” H. x 10 1/2” D.
Vintage Venini, Murano glass fazzoletto with white zanfirico decoration. Signed, barely discernable, venini murano ITALIA acid stamp mark. The previous owner said she purchased this in the 1940s, so it is a very early example. The first versions appeared in 1948, and MOMA added one to their collection in the early 1950s
