Extraordenary gallery art glass vase by Romano Dona. The piece is
executed in 2004 in the Cenedese factory. After the fall down of Stefano Toso company Cenedese hired Romano (one of the best glass blower of the island!)
The plan was to produce a new fashion line. Dona got all rights and executed 450 sample pieces in highest quality. This piece is one of them.
Please take note that this is the best quality you can produce. It will not be possible to reproduce this kind of vases. All actual offered pieces are not made by Cenedese. They are all reproductions made in other factories and in less quality.
Romano Dona was born 1956 in Venice.
1975 Apprentice glassmaker A.L.T. glassworks.
1977 Apprentice engraver F. Moretti glassworks.
1982 Opened glassworks in partnership.
1983 Collaboration with Robert Willson.
1986 Collaboration with Kyohei Fujita.
1990 Collaboration with Lucio Bubacco.
1993 Collaboration with "Cesar".
1997 Opened his own glassworks.
1998 Collaboration with Antonio Meneghetti.
1999 Designed the large blue monolith.
1999 Cooperation with Lucio Bubacco.
2000 Creation of "Le Città Fantastiche".
2000 Cooperation with Egidio Costantini.
2001 Cooperation with David Farsi.
2001 Cooperation with art director Silvano Belardinelli for glass creations of Japanese artists such as Imai Toshimitsu, Nobuo Sekine, Masayuki Kurokawa.
