YOU DO NEED TO MANUALLY INSERT YOUR CARRIERS SERVICE BOOKS BUT IT IS REAL EASY TO DO AND I INCLUDE A STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO DO IT!!! VERY SIMPLE!!!

I DID HOOK IT UP TO MY COMPUTER TO MAKE SURE IT HAS THE MOST UP TO DATE  SOFTWARE AND THREW A COUPLE OF GOODIES ON IT (CAN BE DELETED)   HAS A STORM TASER JUST FOR LAUGHS!! HAHA  STAPLES "THAT WAS EASY BUTTON"  AND A WORKING PIANO HAHAHA  ALL WORK BUT ALSO FOR LAUGHS!!! GOOGLE MAPS  YOU TUBE, EVEN HAS AN MINI ETCH-A-SKETCH!!! The phone is designed for Verizon Wireless Costumers but this phone has been unlocked to use on any carrier such as AT&T and TMobile!!! The only function that doesn't work for other carriers besides verizon is VZ Navigator because it is a verizon only program but you can get 3rd party applications that will work as a navigator!!! There are tons of free 3rd party applications that make this phone so much more then you can imagine....
