You are bidding on an UNSMOKED Preben Holm “TRADITIONAL” "200" series bent "Elongated Egg" shaped pipe that was carved by the studio of Preben Holm, in Copenhagen, Denmark between 1982 and 1983. Look at the wonderful and dense straight grain that covers both the bowl and the shank of this skillfully carved Danish hand crafted pipe! This pipe is a beauty!

Tho straight-grained bowl is quite striking. The carving of this pipe is wonderful! This pipe was never used over its approximate twenty-seven year life! Imagine going into a pipe shop today and viewing the latest creations from Preben Holm. Those days are long gone, but this is the next closest thing! Preben Holm pipes in new and unsmoked condition have become exceedingly rare! The original hand cut black acrylic  stem is free from any tooth marks,  or scratches. The "PH" "Crown" logo can still be seen.

The entire pipe is clean, crisp, and shines like glass! It truly looks like it arrived in the pipe shop just yesterday! A pipe cleaner will effortlessly glide to the bottom of the bowl.

 Here are the dimensions of this beautiful pipe: The overall length is about 5.80", the bowl height is about 2.20", the tobacco chamber is about 0.825" in diameter and tapers down the bowl's 1.80" inner depth. Tobacco capacity is about 15% greater than the average sized Preben Holm pipe. This pipe weighs 74 grams. The pipe sleeve that is pictured below is included.

Most of you know that Preben Holm passed way from an untimely death in 1989. There are no more of these magnificent pipes being made. He had a style that was truly all his own. A Preben Holm pipe can be spotted from across a room; so very distinct were his carvings! A pipe of this grade and in this condition, especially for its approximate twenty seven year age and brand new, unsmoked condition, is rare, desirable, extremely collectable, beautiful looking, and most importantly wonderful performing!

Once again, this is a seven-day no reserve pipe auction. I do not believe in "Reserve" or "Buy it Now" prices. I want the lucky high bidder to own and enjoy smoking this pipe and not have him frustrate himself with bidding on a pipe that is not attainable on a price basis! I am not going to risk damage by using lesser packing. (In my nine years of selling pipes on eBay and shipping thousands of pipes around the world, not a single pipe has been damaged!) I also try my utmost to ship your pipe the same day that I receive your payment, even if this means making a special trip to the Post Office just for you alone. The Registered parcels that ship overseas take extensive time with both the packaging and four forms of documentation that must be filled out.
