UNUSUAL ANTIQUE AFSHAR SUMAK MAFRASH END PANEL, Southern Persia, Kerman area, end of the 19th century, and in very good collector condition. The exact size is: 1'-9" x 2'-3" (53 x 68 cm). An impressive weaving from the Afshar with 100% natural dyes and cotton for the whites. The top, bottom and side finishes are all original. There are some minor abrasions to the front from past ethnographic camp and field use. A visually attractive bag face that will make an attractive wall hanging.
