QUITE UNUSUAL SNAIL ASHTRAY- TOP LIFTS UP-  MARKED HAND MADE IN ITALY-  IN RAISED LETTERS ON THE INSIDE IS WRITTEN- MOD DEPOSITATO-  THE HINGE WORK FINE.  SOME TYPE OF POT METAL WITH A NICE GOLD PATINA.  IN VERY GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION-  SOME OF THE GOLD IS WORN OFF, WHICH IS NORMAL ANTIQUE USE.  THERE IS A LINE ACROSS THE TOP PART, BUT I FEEL SURE THIS WAS IN THE MAKING OF IT.  IT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED.  IT LOOKS ORIGINAL TO THE PIECE.THERE IS A NICE RUFFLED TYPE EDGING AROUND THE BASE.  THERE IS AN ORIGINAL STICKER ON BOTTOM  - MARKED NORLEANS. -- HAND MADE IN ITALY--    VERY NICE COLLECTIBLE SMOKING  ITEM.  THANKS FOR LOOKING,  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK.  PLEASE CHECK OUT MY STORE.
