UNUSUAL FELT AND COMPO DOLLS FROM ITALY, MINT, 1960S NR

We are very pleased to offer for auction this week these three wonderful dolls purchased in Italy back in the mid 1960's. Each of the dolls are in mint condition and totally original....two have their original cardboard boxes. The dolls measure 8 ½" each. Their faces and hands are made out of a type of composition or clay and then they are hand painted. The facial expressions and coloring on these dolls are fantastic. They then have felt clothes with a wire arms and legs that are bendable (the wires are covered with the felt clothing). We have one that is an opera singer in a terrific lime green felt costume with a floppy gray felt hat, glasses and a flocked beard and mustache. We then have a young lady in with long blond braids and a pink felt flower in her hand...and lastly we have a ruddy gentleman with a terrific grin on his face and a very colorful felt costume on with red and white stripe stockings. He is the only one with a tag that reads, “CREAZIONI CIPI VENICE ITALY.” The dolls come to you from a SMOKE FREE home and would make a terrific addition to any collection....and best of all we are offering them with NO RESERVE!
