We are dyeing these strings ourselves and go to great lengths to make them consistent in color, colorfast and hold up under slap bass playing.

High tension Set of Kevlar Core Nylon

Ends of D & G strings are knotted then swaged with a stop sleeve(metal cylinder pinched on tightly), E and A are just knotted to keep the string from pulling thru the tailpiece, and all 4 strings fitted with a label giving the note and gauge/diameter. All the kevlar core strings are sent out
in 4 string sets of these gauges:
E .170, A .155, D .105, G .095.

There is NO "ONE SIZE FITS ALL" kind of weedwackers or other strings that will satisfy everyone.

Everyone has their personal opinion and taste and we help them pick out the most suitable combination of strings to suit them.

We offer the heaviest gauge Nylon with Kevlar Core E and A strings made which are needed to get enough tension and volume at all, thinner gauges just won't do for anyone I've worked with.

We offer light, medium, and high tension D and G strings which cover all customer needs for nylon weedwacker strings.

The light and medium tension are the solid nylon black or forest green available in lighter gagues for superlight action D and G strings.

We also offer Supernil E and A for more volume and sustain on the E and A than weedwackers will provide, and some players just want the steel E string being left on there, and SOME insist on the E and A being steel along with D and G weedwackers.
Supernil E & A are nylon fiber core wound with silver wire, flexible for slapping and louder than weedwackers. $59 for an E & A pair by themselves, or $75 with D/G Weedwackers for a Hybrid set.

Most players just go with a straight set of our weedwacker strings and are quite happy with them.

For the lowest tension weedwackers get our Forest Green or Black Solid Nylon line set, they are the only colors we make in a solid line(NOT kevlar core D/G) anymore, thus the only colors that we offer lower tension on. Gauges are E .170, A .155 both kevlar core; and solid nylon .095 .080 and .065.
