A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
This is a new reproduction of the very scarce sword knot adopted around 1904 during the conversion to russet leather equipment. This knot was issued for wear on the M1860 and M1906 cavalry sabers. Copied from an original in the collection of the US Army Historical and Education Center.
