1928 D $2.00 US NOTE, RED SEAL

This is a nice nearly new note.  It is the 1928D Series Red Seal $2.00 US NOTE in VERY FINE, but you can judge for yourself to make the final decision with the photos above which can be enlarged.  It has the signature combination of Julian/Morgenthau.  It was issued only from the mid 1930s to 1945, the period of the Great Depression and World War II. 

The note is very clean for any age, with 4 sharp full corners, good color contrast with no writing, ink, tears, holes, or missing corners.  There are wrinkles and a few folds.   It is still perfectly crisp and very clean.  This is a really good example of old paper money .  The LARGE RED SEAL is on the left side and is striking. 

Book value is $17.50 in very fine condition, $85 in CU, so place a bid and enjoy a bargain.   Some retailers and Shop at Home TV charge much more that book value for this note when they can find it.  This note often sells for well over $20 even on Ebay!  So if you need it to add something special to your collection this may be your only opportunity, don't let it slip by.
