MILITARY PAYMENT 5, 10 and 25 CENT CERTIFICATES

FINE- VERY FINE

The series 541 MPCs were issued in Europe, Morroco and the Far East from May 1958 after the Korean War until May 1961 just before the build up of US Military Forces in Viet Nam.  MPCs were issued to military personnel to help curtail blackmarketing.  MPCs were good in military facilities like clubs and post exchanges.

Book value for the notes is $24.00, but retailers and Shop at Home TV often charges double that!   The notes are fairly sharp with no holes, tears or missing pieces.  They all have good color, are fairly clean and firm.  There are no holes or tears.  The 25 Cent note is soft while the other two are crisp.  I'd rate them at FINE to VERY FINE,  but you be the final judge with the photos which can be enlarged.
