| Reproduction. WWII US Army compass and pouch set. Our compass pouch is identical to originals. Made from 100% cotton OD#3 (khaki) cotton duck, shuttle loomed binding tape and hardware from Scovil. (Same company that made it during the War.)Yes, I know the majority of originals were green, not khaki, but the B.O.B. generation is violently allergic to anything that's not 110% khaki...so, correct or not, we're bowing to what the market demands. And that's khaki everything.)
The compass is NOT an exact reproduction. It's about the same size as an original and it's black. And it fits in the pouch. It's cheap, but it does the job. Again, it is not dead-on to an authentic WWII compass. Check other auctions on ebay, but nice originals were in the hundred dollar range at last gander. 10 day return.
