US WWII Leather Palm Wool Gloves

Developed in 1942, these were the standard issue winter glove for the entire War. They are made from olive drab wool and have brown leather palms to increase their service life. Our gloves are made from the correct knit wool, and include realistic spec labels.

Why so darned expensive? The blasted wool. It stretches and forms to your hand. The other reproductions are made from melton wool (like the lining of a Tanker Jacket) which has no stretch to it and hence does not form at all. It's uncomfortable, difficult to move your fingers- they are like wearing oven mitts. This material is much more expensive, but it is but that's what it took to get them right. These compare very well to originals both in appearance and performance. 

Sizing: Like originals. 9, 10 or 11. (That's basically M, L, or XL.)
