Exact copies of chinstraps used on US WWII M-1 helmets. These are correct for both the early "fixed-bale" and later "swivel-bale" steel helmets. Our hardware is blackened brass and has the early pattern "stepped bar" buckle. The webbing is 100% cotton, 11 rib, olive drab no. 3. Unlike most other webbing on the market, it is made on a shuttle loom meaning no odd sharp edge. This is identical to the original.
