DESCRIPTIONS:- We strive for straightforward, accurate and concise listings which describe the item exactly as it is. Questions are always welcome, and will normally be answered within 24 hours, often very much quicker. If you think we can do anything in a better or more informative way, please let us know. All our items are covered by the returns policy shown below.

RETURNS POLICY:- Unlimited when we are notified within seven days of receiving item, and returning within fourteen days. No reason need be given for return.

Many of our listed items are being sold on behalf of owners using our eBay ‘Trading Assistant’ listing service. All items are in our possession, and have been carefully checked and described by us. Please note that bids subject to certification by a recognized expert committee must be agreed before the bid is placed, otherwise the returns policy as shown above applies. Please use the ‘Ask Seller a Question’ link above for such requests. Requests for bids subject to certification will not be unreasonably refused, but may be subject to the owner’s approval. Where a bid subject to certification is agreed, we will hold the full payment in escrow during the extension period.

PAYMENT:- Card payments are welcome through PayPal. Personal checks and Money Orders in US Dollars drawn on a US bank are welcome. Cash in non US currency is not accepted due to high bank fees, nor are cash payments in US dollars from non USA countries. We regret we cannot accept other transfers, checks or money orders drawn on non-US banks, including Canadian banks. 6.5% Sales Tax charged to Minnesota residents only.

If unable to pay by PayPal or mail payment within three days of the auction ending please contact us before bidding to propose payment timing. Please do not bid if unable to meet this timescale, unless an extension of this period is agreed with us before your bid is placed.

COLLECTIONS & LARGER LOTS:- Collections, accumulations, and other larger lots may have stamps in a wide range of conditions, we try to give an accurate overall view of condition in our descriptions but individual stamps and their identifications are not verified. We are always pleased to check individual stamps on request, when this is practical. Please note that we do not ship collections to Italy - their import into Italy is not allowed.

Shipping

SHIPPING:- When an item is paid for using PayPal we ship to the PayPal address on your PayPal account only. Sorry, for security reasons there are no exceptions.

We offer USPS shipping services only, and regret that we cannot ship items using any other carrier for either USA domestic, or international mailings. We will ship to all countries where USPS insurance is obtainable, except Italy, unless specified in the item description. WE DO NOT SHIP TO ITALY - the import of stamp collections into that country is not allowed, and there are severe restrictions on the import of all collectible stamps. We cannot ship items over $50.00 final price to countries where USPS do not offer insurance, for example Mexico, the Philippines, some Eastern European and many South American and African countries - please check with us before bidding.

We pack single stamps in a protective mount or glassine envelope, between two pieces of thick card, in a special strong envelope. Collections, books, or heavier items are sent at cost plus $1.00 (domestic) to $2.00 (non-domestic) for packing and handling. The eBay calculator costs already include this fee.

All items are carefully packed and protected, but we regret that we cannot be responsible for any uninsured items lost or damaged in the mail.

Basic costs for single stamps, up to 100 single stamps mailed in a packet, up to ten plate blocks, and single covers are as below:-

To a U.S.A. address: $2.00.
To all other countries $2.95.

Shipping costs for heavier items are listed in the description, an eBay shipping calculator is supplied at the end of this page, or you can ask us at any time.

We combine your winning auctions for the lowest possible costs.

POSTAL INSURANCE:- We ask your understanding that postal insurance is a condition of bidding on all items with a final price of $49.50 or over, whatever payment method is used, this also applies when the purchaser has their own insurance coverage, as insurance protects both buyer & seller. Please do not bid if you disagree with this requirement.

USA Addresses:- We charge basic USPS rates, for USA addresses only these are as below:

$1.65 for up to $50.00 insurance cover
$2.65 for up to $100.00 insurance cover
plus an extra $1.00 for every additional $100.00 of insurance cover.

Non USA Addresses:- USPS rates as applicable at the time of mailing. USPS Priority Mail International (starts from $16.00, insurance extra), or Express Mail International (base cost $25.00, insurance extra) may be the only insurable options to some countries. Registration is available at cost, but only provides limited insurance. Please contact us for exact costs before bidding.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS:- For shipping outside of the USA (including Canada) we declare the full purchase value as US federal law requires - we’re sorry, but we ask your understanding that we can make no exceptions.
