Description:

Group of early US stamps, 2c Brown Banknote issues, probably 157 but I'm not checking them, collected for their cancels. I have a huge specialized collection (several thousand) of these I'm breaking up -- so this description is rather generic; please see scan for exactly what's in the lot. All stamps have been scanned, what you see is what you get -- all of these stamps haven't been examined, I'm just offering sheets as is from the collection -- there almost certainly will be SOME FAULTY stamps, and are priced as such. The collection includes cork, blue, circle of wedges, maltese cross, etc. A great opportunity to fill some of those holes in your fancy cancel accumulations at a fraction of the catalog for used stamps, without including any cancel premiums.
