What is a Cantenna and what it is Used for?
It is a strong wireless antenna (802.11 protocol) used to get Internet from a distant point. This cantenna is particularly interesting for 2 major reasons:
1- It is especially tuned to get the strongest signal possible, every aspect of this product have been tuned very precisely

Here is a Netstumbler Signal ratio screenshot of the 2 most popular type antenna used to extend a network compared to my own, in the same configuration.
As you can see in the Netstumbler screenshot, my Cantenna is more powerful than the original pringle style cantenna sold anywhere else (Including Ebay)
In fact, my cantenna model is shorter than the original Cantenna, but this doesn't mean it is less effective

Performance you could expect greatly depends of the environment. Wifi signal at 2.4ghz is greatly affected by physical objects. You will get the most of the signal if you are in clear line of view. If you need to go through trees/walls or other objects you will lose a lot of signal strength and the distance you can reach can drop to few hundreds of feets.

Important Information about USB Cable Length:
USB protocol don't allow cable longer than 16ft. But if you need a longer cable you can buy USB Repeater and put them in a row (Every USB Repeater allow you 16ft Extension and you can add up to 3 Repeater in a row for a total of 48ft extension cable). There repeaters of 100ft long but we never tested it so we can't guarantee it works fine.
