The binding is very good with no loose or missing pages. There are NO inscriptions and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book. The original cloth hardback cover is in very good condition for its age. The illustrated dust-jacket is in good condition for its age, with a small tear to the rim, is grubby and has not been price-clipped. The gold on the spine of the book is very good.
