The TS-80 series aluminum tripod stands have been COMPETELY redesigned to offer lightweight, secure support of speakers and lighting equipment. New connector tubes telescope up to accommodate 1 3/8" speaker sockets and down for 1 1/2" sockets, minimizing the need for adapters. The tube lock system prevents accidentally pulling out the center tube. Other features include glass reinforced polycarbonate fittings, drawn aluminum tubing, countersunk or capped bolts and durable finishes. The stands raise and lower with a turn of the redesigned knob, locking tightly for secure support. Metal clamps over plastic fittings minimize over-tightening and breakage and load capacity is 150 lbs.
