You must to be satisfied with your hat or send it back to fix, modify or replace at no charge for any reason.
You may think the hat you seek is about 50 years late in finding. We realized this many years ago when we opened the doors and have spent a constant battle for the past years to correct all this. We have succeeded finally and fortunately in being able to not only offer the styles and colors of the hats from yesteryear but also to offer them in a quality of materials that was never offered in the commercial or custom line of hats at any point in history. Some folks think a hat is just a hat and for me its so much more. A hat like this is paying homage to your Father or Grandfather and their Vintage Borsalino or in my case my Uncle Wess and his old grey John B. Stetson that I wore as a kid in the mountains ginseng huntin but never as dress hat. Some have confused that or settled for a covering that resembling something from the past and think is fine as long as it gives any resemblance to those hats. I have never believed that but instead believe we have to recreate more than the past and actually recreate the dream and nostalgia and the amplified memory of the embellished past that we so fondly remember. Sure folks do create false memories and make them so sweet and yet those memories are what we recreate in the hats we make here. Yes it is so and we are not just hat makers but also dream makers as well. To say our hats are dreamy is just an accurate statement of the fact as they are more than the covering that will last several generations but also covering the need for a time in a lost generation from the past.
This hat will be made to your exact head size and shape as with any custom bespoke hat we send out a conformature to get your head shape on file and use this while building the hat as if you was sitting here. We offer the hat blocked to Round oval, Regular Oval, Long Oval, XLO, XXLO and XXXLO and typically in sizes from 6 1/4- 8 5/8 but will make the hat to your exact head size and shape regardless how cranially endowed or depleted you may be and not just to a hat size but your hat and head size and Shape exactly. Please note that it takes a minimum of 10-20 days to build a fine hat. We work with you by phone and email and send you full color photos of the hat as it is being built and make sure every detail is to your satisfaction. We do not have any dissatisfied customers. You will not be unhappy and if we find we cannot work with you or satisfy you then we will not take you on as a client. We choose our customers very carefully and most our customer base has between 5 and 300 of our hats. Please expect to be a life time customer if we can accept your commission and work with you to provide you one of our exclusive hats. We do not build hats for folks in a hurry or ones that do not even have time to participate in the process. This hat will have as options, deluxe amenities like the Real Bridal Satin Liner or choice of hand made Bridal Silk Satin/ hand pleated, real kangaroo leather sweat band (We commission the hunters to bag the animals and then purchase the hides pickled and crusted then veg tan and finish them to perfection) with genuine oil silk under guard and joined by hand stitching and archival linen that will not rot the stitching thread, all sewn in by hand stitching with waxed silk thread with precision stitching. We offer your name debossed into the leather with real gold leaf as well and not the artificial gold foil.
Ribbon treatments can include a nearly endless variety of Vintage Rayon Hat Band Grosgrains and Silk Blends along with custom dyed and other ribbon treatments. We can offer a nearly endless optional range of bow work and other fancy treatments.
This offering includes, a optional matching wind cord and or custom dyed wind cord blended to the ribbon and/or felt.
Brim treatments can include a choice of micro hand stitched ribbon bound edge, Shackle or pencil curl, over or under welt edge (hand cranked machine stitched) and/ combo brim treatments
Styles are limited to your imagination and our ability but can include, Fedora, Homburg, Bowler/ Derby (various styles including Cambridge and Western and English), Western, Western/Dress Crossing, Two Tone, Hybrid Felt and Straw, Montecristi straw. Really just about anything you can think of we can build it. You specify and or we help you choose exacting crown heights and brim widths, styles and treatments. .

The box will contain a drawer with die cut velour covered foam with hat care accessories fitted with precision.
