Please excuse the towel, I didn't want the statue to get dirty or damaged. There is some dust collected on it from being in storage, which I would be happy to clean off before shipping. Ultra rare statue of Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion, slightly larger than 1/3 scale, ~25 inches tall including the base. Her body is one solid piece, her head and base are held on by metal rods. She is solid and weighs quite a bit (((~11.5lbs)), and is about 7 years old. She is in excellent condition, I've only taken her out of the packaging she was shipped in twice, once to see her at first, and once for these pictures. She originally cost $250 + 18.50 shipping. If you want any additional pictures, please just ask. :)

This originally released in June 2001 for 48,000 yen ((About $460USD)), and was discontinued shortly after. She's 59.5cm tall ((23.5")), and weighs 4700grams ((10.5lbs)) not including her packaging.

Other information: Rei Ayanami is one of the 14 year old children piloting the bio "mechs" against the "angels" in the anime/manga Neon Genesis Evangelion, along with two other children, Asuka Langley-Soryu and Shinji Ikari. She is a clone and essentially, NERV's property. This is a very interesting series and I highly recommend the manga, and anime TV series, though I'm not fond of the movies they released ((Except for the End of Evangelion. The other two, Death and Rebirth, are just sloppy recaps of the anime series.)) Wikipedia is a great source of information on this show. :)
