Two knights with rearing horses.

Signed in pencil at lower right.  Numbered in pencil at lower left, 32 / 50.  The total edition size was only 50 prints!

Unframed print on heavy paper measures 22" by 30" overall.  The image size is 26.75" by 19.5"

Versatile and well listed Italian American artist Umberto Romano was awarded a Pulitzer Travelling scholarship.  He completed a large commission for the WPA.  Romano's works are in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Smithsonian,

Condition:

2 small vertical tears at top edge, each adjacent to a piece of print mounting tape.  Dark horizontal smudge at left paper edge.  These condition issues can be mitigated by proper framing.  See close up images of each below.

Wonderful mid century period for this flexible and wide ranging artist.
