Many of the under cabinet uses a 10 watt halogen bulb with a G4 base. We think that this LED is a direct replacement only using 1/10 of the power. This LED module has 6 surface mount LED’s that are super bright. For about the size of a quarter it produces a massive amount of light. This module can be used in nearly any application because of its small size and brightness. It can be powered by nearly any 12-volt source.
LED bulbs are compatible with all types of magnetic transformers but not all electronic transformers. Many electronic transformers require a minimum load which is greater than that provided by LED bulbs. LED bulbs will usually not work properly (no light output, flickering, and strobing) in fixtures that have integral electronic transformers in each fixture. We recommend changing the power LED power supply which can be purchase in our website.
