You are bidding on the following item: Unknown item but it is believed to be survey related (but we could be wrong) since it came in with a lot of  survey equipment. Unit compised of 3 sections and has an assemble length of 48 ''. There is a carry strap and 3 knobs with threaded shafts. Do you know what it is ???

About shipping.

Tripods or grade rods will be shrink-wrapped (no charge) and shipped Fedex Ground (actual shipping) to continental US addresses.

 USPS shipments to Alaska,Hawaii and PO boxes ,or any other bidders requesting boxing instead of shrink-wrap ,will be charged $5 to cover procurement of proper sized box.

 International bidders must inquire first for estimate to be sure that item will meet postal size specifications to your country. All items sent USPS must be boxed and $5 will be added to actual shipping costs for boxing.

We will not intentionally misrepresent any item, but we DO NOT claim to be experts on every subject, so please read the description fully, examine the photos closely, and ask questions. 

All items are sold strictly AS IS unless specifically stated otherwise.

Please send us your shipping information and any special shipping / packing as soon as the sale ends. Otherwise we will base your shipping costs on the address provided by eBay at the end of the sale.

Payment is expected within 10 days of you receiving the total from us and must be in US funds $$.

Non-paying bidder warnings will be issued (which can lead to your suspension from eBay) and negative feedback may be issued to all who fail to pay.

International bidders---ATTENTION--!!!! .On May  15 2007 the USPS eliminated the cheaper Letter Post and Surface Economy options .They also nearly doubled the shipping costs and reduced the size and weight limits for packages. You should therefore contact us first before bidding for an estimate.  If we have a sale that is restricted to US bidders only, it is usually because of shipping, size or weight concerns. If you can work around these problems, contact us first and we will allow you to bid.

All international shipments will be via USPS Mail .The Post Office now provides some Default Insurance  on most international shipments but extra coverage my be necessary depending on value of your purchase. This extra insurance is optional. We are not responsible for lost or damaged,or under uninsured merchandise. You are responsible for all Customs duties .We will not under value or declare “Gift” status for you so please do not ask.

When requesting an estimate, US bidders should provide the following information:

Zip Code, Type of address (Commercial or Residential), or state if it is a PO Box

We only charge ACTUAL shipping costs unless there is a stated additional boxing fee.

We do not fully box items until the sales end so shipping estimates are approximate but should be very close.

All domestic shipments will be via FEDEX Ground unless you live in an area they do not service or, if you have a P.O. Box. Those shipments will be via USPS Priority or Parcel Post (with a delivery confirmation charge added.). Insurance is optional and the risk is yours if not insured.

 Postal shipping is almost always more expensive then FedEx and there is no way to track it so we encourage you to find an alternate delivery address if you do have a PO Box. Due to the high cost of fuel and the distance we are from the Post Office we only ship once a week with them –FedEx is daily .

 FedEx shipments include free, the insurance for the first $100 of value and the tracking. If you have a FedEx account #, you may supply it to us if you wish and have the shipping charged directly to your account. We do not ship UPS even if you have an account with them.

Local pick-up is usually welcome but must be discussed before the end of the auction.

Receipt of payment by Paypal or Money Order usually gets same or next day shipping. Personal checks must wait 10 business days to clear. Pending Paypal E-checks ship when Payment clears-usually about 4 business days.

 We will submit positive feedback for all who adhere to these guidelines and submit feedback first (usually done every 3-4 weeks so please be patient).
