This listing is for an unmarked, antique Watt Pottery Co. Kitch-n-Queen No. 10 mold bowl. Despite the fact that the name Watt is nowhere written on the bowl, the color pattern is exactly that of other Kitch-n-Queen pieces, and the measurements and shape correspond to those of a Watt No. 10 mold, lip and shoulder bowl. I have found wattcollectors.com very helpful in this regard.

This bowl is about 5 1/8" tall and 10 1/4" in diameter. It looks most suitable for mixing, but could be used for rising or serving as well. From the inscription on the bottom (see below), it may even be suitable for baking or stew-making in an oven.

The bowl is a light yellow, with a mauve 5/8" stripe flanked by two narrow aqua stripes below the shoulder. On the inside and outside, the glaze shows signs of wear and discoloration. Spotting, small craking, and small chips are common but do not detract from the beauty of the bowl. They lend it character and a sense of age.

In the very center of the inside bottom of the bowl is an almost tear-drop shaped area about 3/8" across which has no glaze. It does not seem like a chip, because it is raised from the rest of the bottom very slightly, instead of being a depression in the surface.

On the outside bottom of the bowl are the markings "Oven Ware U.S.A" and a large number 10.

There is no large damage or cracking anywhere on the bowl. Mostly, it just seems worn and old.
