Your bidding on a FULL 50 COIN UNSEARCHED SHOTGUN ROLL, with a mixture of pennies ranging from 1857 through 1958. The two pictures you see are of the actual roll of pennies that is up for bid. I bought them as you see them in my pictures, from a family in Tennessee, who saved them during the years they were being made. 



THE END COINS SHOWING ARE:

  • Reverse of a FLYING EAGLE Penny. It is showing a good amount of detail. This will be an 1857 or 1858. It could be an 1856, but since there were only about 2000 made, I would have to doubt it.
  • 1909 Lincoln Head Penny. There is the possibility of "VDB" initials on the back, which would make it a 1909 VDB, a Semi-Rare Coin.

The other 48 pennies:

Judging from my feedback and what I have seen, you will most likely find Indian Head Pennies in Better than average Condition, a higher than average amount of Teens and Twenties and a good amount of D and S mints. Flying Eagles have shown up more than expected. Steel Pennies and Brilliant Wheats have been seen extrememly often. Silver Dimes have been found, which include Mercury, Barber and Seated Liberty.
