Deck/Skateboard Art
Titled: Untitled
Artist: David Marple
Medium: Acrylic, Spray Paint
David Marple's style has been evolving since the early 1980's, and is a direct product from his life and love for The skateboard culture, classic punk rock, old school hip-hop, B-Boy and his faith ! David has been drawing and painting since the age of 4 and has not stopped creating art since then !!
David Marple accredits Jim Phillips, Todd McFarlane, Miles Tevas, Boris Vallejo, George Lucas, and his Aunt Judy in the development of his style. Plus, he attributes his inspiration to draw and paint to Jesus Christ. It is his faith that continues to push David to create art that hopefully entertains as well as up lifts his viewers.
His current Style is a fusion of natural elements and urban esthetics. His works reflect his life growing up in Salinas. Combining all his diverse experiences David Marple brings to the art world a new look approach to landscapes by infusing street art and skate related elements to his pieces. www-myspace-com/dmarple
