For sale is an unused Ampex ATR-104 4-track 1/2” Ferrite Erase Head part number 4850239-010. The head is clean in good condition, and was never used. It is guaranteed to work perfectly.

There’s a small chip in the ferrite, in the very bottom of the face of the head. You can see in the photo if you look carefully. This chip is located several millimeters below the bottom of the tape path, so it will have no effect on the performance of the head -- it is strictly cosmetic.
