No chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or other damage. There are a couple of the typical glaze flaws found on much of the European ware from the early years of last century -- small glaze pops, dark spots, grains of sand and so on -- that don't impact the piece in any way. We also noted a few lines of crazing on the underside of this item - VERY minor, and typical.

2) Within the Continental US, buyer to pay $12.00 S/H/I for UPS Ground Service or Priority Mail shipping with Delivery Confirmation / Return Receipt - our choice of carrier. Buyer must pay additional costs if an alternate means of transportation is desired/required, including, at times, USPS within the lower 48 due to their higher insurance costs. Buyer must also pay additional costs - for transportation and delivery/signature confirmation - for goods shipped outside the US.

3) Regarding PayPal: We can now accept PayPal from buyers in all participating countries, worldwide; the only condition is that the item must be shipped to the address provided to us by PayPal. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thanks for understanding.
