PIANO FOR SALE! PIANO FOR SALE~!! JUST ONE BID AND IT CAN BE YOURS FOR AS LOW AS $29.99!!
I need the room more than I need two pianos.....so I'm selling ONE to you!
I dont know much about this piano. It has been in our home for about 2 yrs or so now. Before that, it sat in a local church for YEARS...so long that no one remembers how it got there. We pd professional movers $200 to move it, so it wasn't 'Free'.
It was tuned up and kept nice when it was there. I've not done anything with it but used it to hold pictures/photos (as you can see from my photo). My kids however loved it to death. Unfortunately some keys have taken a beaten and ivories are missing. Some pen marks ...which would be covered with replacement ivories. One black key is missing. (Might be able to locate..no promises.) 7-21 I found it! It kept the kids off MY piano on the other side of the room. 7- 21-08 I measured the height of piano to be approximately 5'. Inside top cover is original manufacturer sticker/label gaurantee from The Columbus Piano Company. From what I've researched online the company was owned by Charles Lindenburg and was in business from about 1908 - 1928. So I'd guess this piano has to be atleast 80 yrs old. It is not showroom quality of course, but I've seen worse. It is being sold 'as is', that's why it's important that you ask questions first, then bid.
It is an upright 'Lindenburg' made in Columbus Ohio. If you need more info tell me where to find it and I'll look for it...model #'s? Dates, etc? More details or specifics on condition, location, etc.
It really can be / has been a nice sounding piano...even without the ivory key covers! Of course it will need a little inside tune up and possibly a couple of hammers, but if you are into piano restoration or piano repair this would be winner for you! You can work on this one, or use it for parts to fix a fancier one! (I considered hanging on to it till I became so tired of it that I'd put it in my back yard garden and let the weather age it and use it for an ivy and perennial flower pot...I'm not CRAZY..I've seen it done at a local greenhoue. It actually was a unique centerpiece in the garden decor!..But I wanted to offer it to someone who could give it a loving home, before I did that.) Other pple may think it would make good firewood and scrap metal. Once you have it in your hands..you can do as you please!
THE BENCH is NOT included. There is one pictured with it that came with the piano, but it is NOT included with this Ebay Auction. If asked, I may be willing to list the bench at a later date, otherwise I'm keeping it for a back up bench for the piano I use.
The winning bidder and buyer of this musical instrument would be responsible for paying for the piano (IN CASH OR M.O. or CASHIERS CHECK IF PAYING THE DAY OF PICKUP) and moving it out of the house onto the moving vehicle. Insured movers would be a plus! I believe it does have wheels...that may help. We will not be held responsible for any damage to the piano during the moving of it off our property.
If you wish to pay with PayPal or Personal Check, everything would need to be received and cleared before pickup would be allowed, for obvious reasons..I want to make sure the money is 'good' before you take the 'goods'.
You cannot change your mind once you get here...all Ebay rules, regulations, contracts apply. So please ask questions first. If you'd like different pics I can take more.
I am charging a $5.oo Handling fee simply to help cover payment for Ebay and listing fees. And for the Tylenol I'll need after moving all my furniture out of your way ! :p If you don't think that is fair, don't bid on the piano. I'm sure you understand. (The shipping details below incorrectly lists local pickup as 'FREE', the $5.oo handling fee still applies for the pickup since this item was not intended to be 'shipped'.)
After the close of auction I will send you an email and or invoice and expect an immediate reply with how you intend to pay. Then I will speak with you via phone or thru email about specific pickup details and directions. Thanks so much for your serious bid. I'd honestly like to see this piano get a new home and owner.
