"High-End" Guitar Features

High-quality, full sound.  Cedar and spruce are generally recognized as the two best types of wood from which the soundboard can be made.  Cedar is softer than spruce, and will fully break in much sooner than spruce.  Mahogany is used for the sides and back for a highly attractive look. The DC-20 Deluxe also has a high gloss durable finish.

2. 4-Band Active Equalizer W/ Tuner & Mic

5-band equalizer with built-in Piezo electric pickup with 'Phase' to help reduce feedback. The five-band equalizer allows you to control the broad range of frequencies (presence, treble, middle1, middle 2, and bass) when connected to an amp. It is also conveniently located where it can be easily adjusted while playing. Between the Piezo pickup and the EMI shield painting, you will only get the most crisp and pure sounds, without interference or feedback. The equalizer has an on board 9 volt battery.

3. Full Body, Neck, and Headstock Binding

Maintain quality, durability, and appearance. The construction of the DC-20 is so "seamless", it almost feels and looks as though it is made from a single piece of wood. You will not see any glue protruding from seams anywhere on the guitar.

Ivory ABS is a very strong binding, protecting the edges from impact. Acoustic guitars without binding around the edges can fall apart with even the slightest bump on the edge. The Peal DC-20 guitar not only has binding around the edges on the body, but also along the edges of the neck and headstock, for complete protection.

4. Dreadnought Cut-Away Body Style

Allows you to reach frets closest to sound hole. Not only is the cutaway style more attractive, but it also enhances your ability to better play the guitar. The cutaway enables you to play all the frets, not just the ones beyond the body of the guitar.

5. Construction

The DC-20 is built to last you a lifetime.  The DC-20 features an interior X-Brace (5/16" x 5/8") that is made of solid spruce in a tone enhancing scalloped pattern to allow the top to flow more freely and makes a much stronger support system. Because of the x-brace we are able to make a cleaner surface matting area which cleans up the guitar interior.  The interior is extremely clean.

The DC-20 top is constructed using a 5 ply binding to ensure lifelong durability. The top also features an inlaid multi-bound colorful abalone like rosette making the guitar very attractive.

A volute neck will make the neck and fingerboard much stronger.

6. Enclosed Tuners

High-precision tuners that keep dust and dirt out. The DC-20 Series uses die-cast tuners with a 14:1 gear ratio. These precision-cut gears allow you to perfectly tune your guitar quickly and easily, without slippage or backlash. The sealed lubricant means that the machine heads will last a lifetime. Comparable replacement tuners typically sell for between $50 and $100.

7. Genuine Abalone Fret Markers

When playing the guitar you want to be able to easily see the position markers so you can quickly move from one fret to the other without having to tilt the guitar to see the front. The DC-20 guitar has easy-to-read genuine abalone fret markers.

8. Conveniently Located Output Jack

The DC-20 features an output jack on the side to help avoid damage.
