Before I tell you about this item I feel compelled to tell you something about us since we have recently began selling the iPhone on eBay. We have been selling on eBay for a long time and supporting technological products and networks way before eBay was even a passing thought. That said, we have been fixing these and other smart phones locally almost since their inception and have developed quite a skill set of service and repair. With the slew of models and upgrades out there we are now able to offer some of our inventoried products in advance of the launch of our repair web site. So if your looking for a smart phone on eBay without the, “works perfectly except” disclaimer then I invite you to consider our offering. Thanks for reading the entire ad because there is important information. People tell me my ads are too wordy already but as they say knowledge is power.

This sale is for the phone and data/charge cable only. It does not include anything that is not specifically listed as included or pictured. This 3G 16GB iPhone has been unlocked and jailbroken, so it is ready to use on the GSM network (currently set for t-Mobile) of your choice (required SIM card not included). To my knowledge this phone will not work with Verizon, Sprint or Alltel or any other CDMA carriers. I won't go into explaining what unlock and jailbroken mean because by virtue of you being here I suspect you know. We have installed an APP (tether) that will allow you to use you cell phone WiFi or current data plan to connect your PC to the Internet.

This Phone is currently set-up for use with t-Mobile. If you are going to use a different carrier as described above the phone someone will need to change the carrier code (APN). You can do this yourself or we can do this for you if you communicate your wishes in advance. If you don't say anything we will ship it as configured and if you do not have t-Mobile it will not connect to you provider until it is changed.

DO NOT update the Apple software when you connect to iTunes as it will disable the hacks we have installed. If you inadvertently perform an update, your phone will no longer work, everything else will, but not the phone. At this writing there is no remedy for this so do yourself a favor and DON'T UPDATE THIS PHONE! If and when a fix is developed you can contact us for an RMA number and shipping instructions. We will reinstall the the programs for $25.00 plus return shipping and insurance with signature required.

Condition: You have heard the old saw, “ A picture is worth a thousand words”. Well in this case I don't think the pictures do justice to the condition, but judge for yourself. The moisture (water) indicator is clean and white so I do not believe this unit has been wet or water damaged. There is some discussion among us, whether I should refer to this item as used, repaired or reconditioned, I think it is just semantics. The truth is all three maybe accurate. We have gone over this unit extensively and probably are justified in calling it refurbished.

• This unit is in very good condition in my opinion but see for yourself

• Glass: New.

• Chrome bezel: Clean with some imperfections, but remember, this is not a new phone after all.

• Back/case: less than normal wear. As you can see the white back shows more that the black case

• Secure connection attempt to iTunes Store was successful.

• Secure connection attempt to iPhone activation server was successful.

• Last successful store access was 2009-09-25 12:25:21.

**** User Tests ****

• Call origination/termination, WiFi, EDGE (2G network), 3G, Camera, Speaker, Touch screen, Headphone jack, all switches and everything else we could think of.

Does this mean nothing can go wrong? No, but you can tell by the information that we report that the machine that you will get REALLY HAS been thoroughly tested! While we expect never to hear from you again concerning this purchase other than positive feedback, things do happen. If the machine fails to operate as represented after you receive it, send us an email to get resolution to the problem. This may require you to send the machine back to us (very unlikely). Do not attempt to open the machine (we will know), as it will void our warranty. There is no restocking fee as we do not accept returns. We will repair or replace the unit at our option and pay for redelivery if it is a valid issue (not misuse, abuse or fraud), but you are responsible for the insured inbound shipping to us.

Important! We require an adult signature on delivery. If you suspect that the unit may have been damaged in shipping (i.e., box damage), have the delivery person note the exception, save the package and packing material. Contact the shipping company and us to help you file a claim with the carrier (also very unlikely). Do this immediately to preserve your rights. As the recipient you must file the claim.
