This gate is 4 years old but in good shape with virtually no wear/tear.  It is the basic G35 Kidco gate (for 24-36" inch openings) using a pressure mounted system .  It's 29.5 in high.  If you were to buy this new, it would cost you easily over $85 + shipping.    The gate worked wonders.  The door works by pressing a button and then lifting a handle.  After a bit of practice, you can easily open it with one hand.  There is some wear/tear on the top of the gate (see pic) and along some of the poles.  One day our dog got stuck in the kitchen while we were out and got a bit upset.  Otherwise the gate works perfectly.  Good luck and happy parenting!
