I am a Firefighter/EMT by trade and I on September 2nd 2007, I returned from serving a year in Iraq as a Department of Defense civilian contract firefighter in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Even though I am not prejudiced in what I buy or sell, I do tend to favor certain items. The majority of my past sales have been generated from my area of interests and hobbies. Used police and fire equipment such as two-way radios, lights and sirens, model railroading items such as custom made freight cars and locomotives along with scuba gear top my list of sales. I have also spent my fair share of back-breaking hours cleaning out and listing all types of items from the basement and attic.

I like to think that I go the extra mile in completing my transactions. I sometimes ask myself, is all the time I spend in creating my listings really worth it? Well, I can say for certain that yes it is. I'm am also a buyer, and as a buyer there are things in listings that appeal to you or push you away. I believe one of the major factors is simplicity. I try hard to make my listings appealing, truthful and easy to understand. Another area of importance for me is to offer respectable services.  Some of these services include satisfaction guarantees, free shipping and gift wrapping. Why buy from someone who just slaps a listing together just to get your money and not stand behind what they sell.

1. Your bid is a contract. Please remember that every bid on eBay is Binding. (Unless the item/ items are listed in a category under the Non-Binding Bid Policy or the transaction is prohibited by law or by eBay's User Agreement). Bidding on multiple identical items should be done only if you intend to buy all of the items. Place a bid only if you're serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bidder, you will enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item. Please understand, that if a transaction is not completed, that on most items I will file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert, request a Final Value Refund, and leave negative feedback. Once this step is taken eBay may issue a non-paying bidder "strike" against the account.

2. Winning bidder must pay in full within 36 hours of auction end. If payment is not received or payment arrangements made within 36 hours, an e-Bay "Payment Reminder" will be sent and you may receive neutral feedback. If there is still no payment received or payment arrangements made after seven days, per eBay policies, I may file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert, request a Final Value Refund, and leave negative feedback. Per eBay rules, the high bidder may lose the right to the item if there is no contact within 3 days of the close of auction. If this occurs I will either re-list the item, not re-list the item or Make a Personal Offer to the second highest bidder.

3. If an items does not reach the Reserve Price I may re-list the item, not re-list the item or Make a Personal Offer to the highest bidder.

4. If you are not clear on any part of this auction, its rules, regulations, policies, or have any questions, please ask before you bid. I check my e-mail several times a day, and I will generally get back to you within the same day.

5. If you feel the need to delay a transaction for a short time, don't worry too much about it, but you must let me know within 36 hour's from auction end and keep me up to date and informed on a regular basis of your situation and intensions. Good communications on your part will allow us to work together to reach a compromise. If a transaction ends up just "pending" for longer than twenty-one days unless agreed upon, I may file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert, request a Final Value Refund, and leave negative feedback. Once this step is taken per eBay, they may issue a nonpaying bidder "strike" against your account.

6. If you are a winning bidder and feel the need to back out of the transaction "you must let me know within 36 hour's from auction end". I understand that things come up and happen in our day to day life's that affect our life on eBay. However, I ask that bidders who back out make good on the auction by paying the Final Value Commission and Listing Fees for the item/items. Payments for the just mentioned fees must be paid to me via Pay-Pal ®. Please understand, that if I'm not reimbursed and unless agreed upon otherwise, that on most items I will file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert, request a Final Value Refund, and leave negative feedback. Once this step is taken eBay may issue a non-paying bidder "strike" against the account.

Customer service is the name of the game and my buyer's happiness is important to me. I try to make every reasonable attempt to be upfront and honest about the conditions of the items being auctioned. Every item I sell is covered by my personal satisfaction guarantee. The bottom line is, if you are not satisfied, simply contact me within 24 hours and I will make all reasonable attempts to make it right. It's that simple!

Check your package invoice to insure you received all of your items. Winning bidders will have 24 hours from the day of delivery to look the item/items over. If your package is received damaged, or its not as described, contact me by e-mail within 24 hours and I will make all reasonable attempts to resolve the problem and/or authorize your return. It's my policy to leave Feedback for each and every auction winner regardless if they leave feedback for me - but I know you will. I generally will leave positive feedback within 24 hours of receiving payment so long as the winning bidder has met the General Terms and Conditions or made other mutually agreed upon arrangements with me.

I also make every feasible attempt to resolve any problem which may result in neutral or negative feedback. As long as your intentions were good, you maintain communication and are generally a reasonable person, we should be able to work it out. However, when my efforts have failed, please understand that I won't hesitate to place negative feedback for people who bid in bad faith or neutral feedback for those who don't meet the auction terms.

It's also my policy to leave positive feedback even if a buyer backs out if he or she will make good on the auction by reimbursing me for the listing insertion fee and the final value fee. Please note that if the back-out terms are not met (per-eBay policy) I may file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert, request a Final Value Refund, and leave negative feedback. General Shipping Policy: Winning bidder is solely responsible for any and all shipping charges, including special packaging request. Items are generally shipped with in one to two business days after receiving payment. Items are currently being shipped via Priority Mail through the United States Postal Service to all fifty United States only. Shipping rates are outlined by the USPS Notice 123, Rate Fold Effective July 15, 2007. Combining shipping rates for multiple auctions are generally available if the items can be shipped within the same package. However, combined shipping may not be available on all items at all times. All USPS shipped packages will include free Delivery Conformation. Delivery Confirmation/Tracking Numbers are emailed when the item/items are processed for shipping. All items generally ship the next business day if payments are received before 9 pm EST.

Free Shipping: Auctions that advertise Free Shipping will only be shipped free of charge to the 48 Continental United States and only if the winning bidder used the Buy It Now feature unless specified otherwise within the auction listing. If the Buy It Now is not used then the normal shipping rates stated above will apply. Free shipping is not available in conjunction with discount coupons or combined shipping.

Packaging: I make all reasonable attempts to appropriately package items for their protection during shipping. Professional packaging is available on some items by request only. Additional charges will apply. Please keep in mind that I am just one guy not a business. Therefore I must go to my local shipper for professional packing services, and their not cheap.

Local Pickups: Local pickup at my location in the Davison Michigan 48423-0015 area is available upon request in order to save you money on shipping fees. Contact me prior to placing your bid or using the Buy It Now features if you wish to schedule local pickups. Local pickups are not available on all items and are subject to my work schedule and general availability.

 Acceptable Funds Policy: At this time I am only accepting payments in the forms of US Dollars from Master Card, Visa, AMEX and Discover via Pay-Pal®.
