This watch is just awesome. It's horological pedigree is a given, what with Vacheron Constantin being the longest continually operating Swiss watch manufacture in existence. For me, what makes this Malte Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar so great is how good looking it is. The silver dial is very attractive, set off nicely by the blue of the moonphase and the rose gold case. The signature Malte case is both classic and modern. And the repeater tone is, well, sublime.

This watch is limited in production to 30 pieces and this is an extremely low number in the series.

The Malte case features flared and tiered lugs, massive front and back bezel, oversized repeater slide and winding crown, and gently domed sapphire front crystal and flat sapphire display back crystal. Dimensions are 41mm diameter by 10.5mm thick. Case is 18k rose gold as is the 18k rose gold Vacheron deployant clasp.

Dial is silver with a very nice lateral, hand engraved, grains of rice guilloche and applied rose gold hour markers. Subdial at 12 o'clock displays months and leap years; 3 o'clock subdial displays date; moonphase and age of the moon at 6 o'clock; subdial at 9 o'clock shows the day.

Movement is the manual winding Vacheron Constantin Caliber 1755 QP with 30 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, and beating at 18,000 vibrations per hour. Once again, this caliber supplies perpetual calendar with moonphase and minutes repetition (minute repeater). The repeater hammers and gongs are visible, working underneath the display back.

This special watch is new, extremely rare, and will be delivered with box and papers.
