What is a Direct - Wire Adapter Splitter Kit?

The Direct - Wire Adapter Splitter is an optional accessory that allows you to connect the Valentine V1 Radar Detector directly to your fuse block or other 12-volt source (leaving your lighter socket free for other uses) and provides one (1) accessory outlet.  You could use the outlets to plug up accessories like our round or flat mute button plug, the Valentine conceal display unit, etc.

 

The Direct - Wire Adapter Splitter is approximately 2"x1"x1" inches long, has a built-in Low Amp FUSE, one outlet to hook up the cord to your Radar Detector and ONE (1) outlet so you can hook up other Valentine accessories.   The power wires are about 12 inches long for ease of install.


See the example diagrams below for a better understanding. 

If you would like to add the Mute Plug:  add $9.99 each.

If you would like to add 4ft. cords:  add $5.00 each.

If you would like to add 8ft. cords:  add $6.00 each.

Each additional item is just $1.00 shipping.

 

You have a choice of 3 power taps.  Just make a note in your PayPal payment AND email us at info@Safe-N-Sound1.com if you would like to change to a fuse tap.  PayPal has not been sending customer notes lately.

Normally comes with a T - Tap Direct Cord Tap to connect to a power wire source like below. 

If you need a Fuse tap, just let us know which one you would like and we'll replace the T-Tap in your order.

2.  Mini Blade Fuse Tap Direct Cord Tap to connect to a mini blade Direct Cord Tap fuse in the fuse box.

 

Now you can wire directly to your fuse box or power source and eliminate dangling power cords.  

 

Extra power taps are just $1 each.  Just let Us know which one your need in addition to the one you get and We'll ship it with your order.

Our power cords will allow your radar detector to be hard wired to your vehicle very easily.  If you do change vehicles, simply unplug the red wire, and unhook the black ground wire.
