     *Up for sale here is a great example of a nice milk bottle from the Valentine's Dairy. This milk is from Smithton, Pa. and is in excellent condition with very bold embossing. This Westmoreland County milk bottle has the slightest amount of wear on the sides, but it is barely noticable. It is free of any chips or dings, and the glass is pristine. The embossment reads the same on both shoulders, "VALENTINE'S". On the base it has a large "V" and the 1958 date. This dairy also operated in West Newton, Pa. as well, since Smithton is just up the road. This quart milk bottle measures 8 3/4" tall, and is square. A nice one from southwestern, Pennsylvania.
