VANITY KODAK ENSEMBLE Beige With Original Bellows, Rare

This auction is for a beautiful vintage VANITY KODAK ENSEMBLE, one of the rarest and most desirable of Kodak items. Created by famed industrial designer Walter Dorwin Teague, the color- coordinated ensemble consisted of a Vest Pocket Kodak Model B camera, a compact (filled with powder and rouge) and a lipstick case, all held neatly in a satin-lined fitted case equipped with a mirror and a change pocket. The ensemble was marketed to women and girls for a short time only, from 1928 to 1929.

This Vanity Kodak Ensemble is in great condition but is missing the lipstick holder. The camera retains its original matching bellows but there is deterioration along the folds of the bellows. (Note: the original colored bellows were fragile and were often replaced with more durable black bellows.) The case has rubbing to the bottom.
