After Hurricane Ike, I sketched, drew and painted to get myself through the recovery. With no electricity, the community was outside. This was my neighbor's brand new puppy, and he was frightened.

Professional artist for over 35 years, Vernita Bridges Hoyt paints in her studio in Spring, Texas. Her artwork is sold through Art Helping Animals, the Daily Painters Gallery, juried art exhibitions and is offered here on eBay. Her Texas Impressionist style is highly sought after and actively collected worldwide. Vernita is a member of The Woodlands Art League, Lone Star Art Guild, Watercolor Art Society Houston. Graduate of the University of Houston College of Architecture, V. Bridges Hoyt established a residential design and planning practice in 1996 but continues to paint daily small pieces as well as create larger fine art works.
