| Authentic vintage Gucci belt buckle marked G. GUCCI ITALY and with the interlocking Gs on decorative front, in between the enameled 'stripes' of red and green. This was purchased in Italy at Gucci. The good news is, the buckle is extremely versatile: you can switch out whatever belt pieces you like and insert them into the buckle. When I did that, I misplaced the actual Gucci red and green leather strip. It is here somewhere, but I packed it somewhere when moving and don't know in what safe place it is tucked away. The buckle is fine on its own, and you can attach Gucci leather or whatever you like. Belt buckle is from the Seventies. You cannot see one spot on inside rollover hinge (where belt pressure is at peak) where there is a spot of plating off. Buckle is 4 inches wide with poker sticking out or 2-1/4 inches with it in. The height of the buckle is just over 1-1/4 inches. |
