You are viewing ONE VERY LARGE STUFFED BEAR MADE FROM 1920'S VINTAGE QUILTS. THIS BEAR WAS MADE FROM A FEW VERY OLD QUILTS THAT BELONGED TO A DISTANT AUNT. WE HAD THIS BEAR MADE BY A WONDERFUL QUILTER NAMED JEAN FREGIA IN TEXAS. HER TAG IS AROUND THE BEAR'S NECK ON A BROWN TWINE STRING. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE TO SELL. IT IS TRULY A ONE-OF-A-KIND ITEM. THE CHAIR IN THE PICTURE IS NOT INCLUDED, IT'S JUST FOR THE BEAR TO SHOW HOW WELL HE SITS. Measurements are: 22" TALL from ears to feet, and 12.5" WIDE from arm to arm. His tummy is 24" around! He is fat! Thank you for looking. I see I have a number of watchers on this auction. I am adding more items daily. Thanks! This is a wonderful TEDDY BEAR 22" & HANDMADE from several OLD QUILTS. He is clean and well made and lovable, and comes from my smoke free home. He is a very Fat Teddy, Measures 22" Head to Foot. He has arms and legs that are moveable, and is very fat-stuffed. He is made from beautiful Old Quilts, with Calico Prints in Blue, Pink, Red, Brown, Yellows and Rust, along with Gingham Prints and Off-White Areas. There are also some striped areas. Jean used only the best parts of the quilts and there is only one small pea sized worn place tucked under his chin. He has no stuffing exposed, except for that one small spot. He has round ears, a wide head, a fat belly and a rump with Jean's signature red heart on his bottom! He is a very solid bear and he sits very well in a chair! He has a thin piece of cotton twine around his neck which holds Jean's tag. This is a very unique and lovely quilted Teddy Bear. Buyer pays FIRST CLASS Shipping. I only accept payment by PAYPAL.
